Impressive friends

What a wonderful thing friendship is! As most of you know, my favorite thing in life is to have friends, and my goal is to have as many friends as possible! I have a wonderful friend that once shared with me she used me as an example in a Bible study about friendship. She told her moms present that if they have ever met me, they would realize that I instantly have adopted them as my friend (whether or not they accepted me as a friend yet) 🤣. I’m not going to lie, that is very accurate!! I love meeting people; I love learning about someone. Everyone is so unique, they have individual traits and talents that make them who they are and I’m so impressed by how they have gotten to where they are at this moment in time.

Over the last couple of years I have met some truly impressive people. I have a friend that went back to school while working full time, being a full time mom and supporting her husband with his passion of music. She recently graduated with her masters which is something I constantly am so impressed with!! I have a friend that is going to school for her doctorate, another friend that homeschools her boys while maintaining her home- baking homemade bread in her "spare time" as well as budgeting enough to buy a house with all cash, and a friend that was courageous enough to stay home with her little one and give notice at a job she worked hard for...then working from home with her sweet boy.

I have friends that are impressive in their business entrepreneurship:

One that took the plunge and started a business making insanely good desserts:

Two friends that wrote children's books:

I have a friend that sells her art which is beautiful and I absolute love to give her work as presents:

I have friends that are just amazing at showing kindness in everyday life. I have friends that shine in ways I am absolutely in awe of!

I try hard to teach the young girls I am around at church that who you surround yourself with is very important. Your friends can build you up and push you to better yourself and help you strive for goals you would otherwise just daydream about. The opposite is also true. Friendship can take a negative toll and can bring you down if you surround yourself with people that don't shine light into the world or who don't share with you and encourage you in your life! Find impressive people, find friends that become family, find friends to love and share your life with. We are called as followers of Christ to Love God and LOVE PEOPLE! Be that friend, find that friend!! ❤️
